Leadership Program – Build Leadership Capacity with Empathy

Program Dates: July 20th-24th 

Time: Options in ICT or CST Time Zone 9 AM-5 PM each day (including a 1-hour lunch break) 

Participant Ages: 15-1921 Spots Available/Time Zone

If you are ready to embrace vulnerability and let your leadership style shine, you will thrive in this program. Using story-telling practices, participants will explore leadership from different perspectives and practice communicating powerfully. Participants will get a chance to practice leadership as they guide their peers through powerful activities. The program will culminate in personal goal-setting and celebration as you prepare to live out your vision. A JUMP! Leadership Certificate will be given to all participants upon completion of the program.

Example Itinerary:

BLOCK 1: Introduction to JUMP!
Introduce JUMP! facilitators and participants, review program flow and objectives and engage in icebreaker activities
BLOCK 2: Community Building
Group challenges to explore communication, trust, and collaboration. Discuss potential obstacles in communities and brainstorm solutions.
BLOCK 3: Personal Discovery
Examine personal values in relation to what we can bring to a community
BLOCK 6: Community Building
Engage in dialogue about how many small actions can contribute to large-scale, global change and impact. Identify tangible small actions that we can take as individuals and as communities.
BLOCK 7: Empathy + Storytelling
Craft personal stories and engage in public speaking, building empathy through storytelling.

Global Citizenship Program – Empower and Explore Action

Program Dates: July 27th-31st 

Time: Options in ICT or CST Time Zone, 9 AM-5 PM each day (including a 1-hour lunch break) 

Participant Ages: 15-1921 Spots Available/Time Zone

Are you a change-maker ready to expand your understanding of the world? This program was made for you! Through the lens of the three pillars of sustainability: Society, Economy, and Environment, you’ll explore the role of global citizenship through conversations with amazing individuals from every continent. Participants will explore themes through engaging activities and conduct research on important global issues. A JUMP! Global Citizenship Certificate will be given to all participants upon completion of program.

BLOCK 2:
Community Discovery
Build a sense of one community through interactive activities that focus on collaboration and communication.
BLOCK 3:
Global Citizenship Conversations
Engage in conversation with a leader of Global Citizenship from a different continent each day. 
BLOCK 6: 
Sustainability Pillar
Investigate what it means to create sustainable societies. Focus on the societal, economic, and environmental factors that support positive futures. 
BLOCK 7:
Global Citizenship in Action
Be inspired by fun activities that will allow for deep conversations on the role of global citizenship in society.

JUMP! CAMP – Your Classic Camp Experience, Virtually!

Program Dates: July 6th-10th (12-14 year-olds) and July 13th-17th (15-19 year-olds)

Time: Options in ICT or CST Time Zone, 9 AM-5 PM each day (including a 1-hour lunch break) 

50 Spots Available per Program

Summer plans looking a little different this year? This program was designed to offer an alternative to the camp you’ve always loved. You’ll join a ”spirit house” team with youth from diverse backgrounds on the first day, who you’ll bond with over competition and community-building throughout the week. With a highly-engaging schedule and an opportunity to choose between workshops on art, movement, science, or culture during a daily sign-up session, “bored” will no longer be part of your vocabulary.

Introduction to JUMP!
Introduce JUMP! facilitators and participants and review program flow and objectives. Kick off the day with energizers and icebreaker activities.
BLOCK 2:
Community Building
Engage students in high-energy and team-focused activities to foster excitement, and encourage group engagement and collaboration
BLOCK 3:

Spirit Houses!

Familiarize students with one another, and create a sense of trust and safety to move them through the rest of the week in a supportive way
BLOCK 6: 
Individual Sign-Ups
Students choose sessions that involve body movement, creativity, science, or history–expanding the limits of at-home activities.
BLOCK 7:
Personal Discovery
Discover personal strengths to understand oneself on a deeper level. Create a vision and set goals to live daily life with joy and purpose!
