Cynthia was born in Canada but was raised bouncing back and forth between Canada and the US. She currently calls Colorado home, but looks forward to continuing to travel and explore other places around the world. After graduating from The Pennsylvania State University with high honors in Recreation, Parks, and Tourism Management, she has had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings with an even greater variety of people. From soldiers post-deployment to youth camps, Cynthia’s passion is using the outdoors and adventure activities as a medium from which to build confidence, competency, and community. In her free time you can usually find her outside with Tim and Kuno (husband and dog respectively). She enjoys exploring new places, spending time in the wilderness, and likes to think she would try anything once (well, most things anyway).
Cynthia is a certified Wilderness First Responder by SOLO, and a Leave No Trace Trainer, in addition to other outdoor certifications and trainings.
