d’Arcy Lunn is from Australia, once-upon-a-time-ago but in the past 15 years is more of a global citizen nomad. He is a registered teacher and educator who is passionate about teaching, sharing, volunteering, travel and learning. For the past 15 years his passions have taken him to more than 65 countries around the world – including Kyrgyzstan, Arctic Canada and most recently Africa, working with UNICEF in Uganda and South Sudan.
Since 2009 d’Arcy has delivered a mix of information and inspiration in over 400 presentations and workshops to a blend of audiences from schools, universities, hospitals, businesses, community groups, panels, Rotary, government, at conferences and in many other forums.
The relationship between JUMP! and d’Arcy is something special. JUMP! and d’Arcy try to be in the same place at the same time as often as possible and he is has been a senior facilitator on many JUMP! programs. In 2014 d’Arcy represented JUMP! and delivered a global citizenship presentation tour speaking to more than 80 groups, in seven countries, to over 5000 people and in just two months.
d’Arcy’s vast array of experiences has seen him work as an educator, project innovator, campaign manager, program manager and communications specialist.
When not working with developing countries he is usually on global awareness presentation tours, walking and cycling journeys, building tiny houses or creating and managing projects for polio eradication and the betterment of the planet and people.
d’Arcy’s dream and daily life is dedicated to see of a world without extreme poverty for everyone, everywhere & forever!
