Dr. Tarek Razik

Dr. Tarek Razik

Board Chair

Tarek has decades of experience in leadership roles at international schools throughout Asia including Jakarta Intercultural School (JIS),  International School of Beijing and Shanghai American School. He has been involved with JUMP! for several years through programs in Beijing. Going on 20 years in Asia he also serves on the council of international schools (CIS) board as well as the American Chamber of Commerce board in Jakarta. Tarek has a Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Vermont. In his free time, he plays golf and strongly supports his Australian Rules Football team, the Collingwood Magpies. He and his family call Rangeley, Maine home.

Pam Vachatimanont

Chair of HR Committee

Pam is passionate about improving children’s access to quality education. She’s worked in schools, UN agencies, and children’s media and technology organizations to find, refine and scale programs to improve children’s success and reduce inequities. Born in Thailand, and having worked for children on global, national and community programs, she’s excited to contribute to Jump’s transformative mission. She has a Masters from Harvard’s Graduate School of Education, and a Bachelors from Williams College.

Peter Luk

Peter Luk

Chair of Finance Committee

Peter is a designated Chartered Accountant with the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants. He completed his Bachelor of Commerce degree at McGill University and his Masters of Professional Accounting degree from the University of Saskatchewan. He started his career with PricewaterhouseCooper’s audit and assurance group and had worked in the Vancouver and Calgary offices, serving clients in mining, forestry, and oil and gas. Peter also spent a number of years with PricewaterhouseCoopers’ M&A advisory group in Beijing, advising on various cross border transactions with values greater than 1 billion USD. Over the last 6 years, he has joined the M&A team at Siemens and has actively managed M&A transactions such as reverse mergers, public takeovers in the US and various other transactions.

Ray Taylor

Ray Taylor

Impact Committee Chair

Ray Taylor (London) joined KKR in 2014 and is a member of the European real estate team. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Taylor worked on the EMEA real estate finance and special opportunities team at J.P. Morgan. From 2010-2012, he worked in J.P. Morgan’s global securitized products and FIG investment banking teams in New York before transferring to the London real estate finance and special opportunities team where he focused on commercial mortgage lending, mezzanine lending as well as acquisition and financing of loan portfolios. Prior to J.P. Morgan, from 2008-2010, Mr. Taylor was part of the structured products trading team at Goldman Sachs in New York. He holds a B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University.

Stuart Clark

Stuart Clark

JUMP! Canada Committee Chair

Stuart Clark was one of the founding members of the JUMP Foundation and has served many roles including as a volunteer, staff member and more recently as Board member. Stuart has extensive experience in non-profit strategic management and leadership, risk management, community development, professional facilitation and non-profit consulting, to support and help steward the transformational experiences that JUMP programs create for youth of all walks of life.  Stuart has extensive professional work in non-profit board development, and has consulted over 65 boards in western Canada. In his current role as the Executive Director of Lift Community Services, Stuart works with other organizational and civic leaders on several critical community development initiatives, including peacemaking and restorative justice, promoting diversity and eliminating hate, and ending poverty. Stuart also volunteers as a certified volunteer Search Manager for the province of BC, leading the regional Search and Rescue team to locate and assist missing or injured persons. Stuart holds an MBA in Executive Management with a specialization in Leadership from Royal Roads University, and has been trained in risk management, strategic planning, board governance, peacemaking circles, and professional facilitation skills. Stuart lives with his wife and two young children in Powell River, BC.

Michael Warren

Michael is a serial entrepreneur known for his expertise in growing small to medium sized enterprises. His process includes developing smart business models, scaling customer acquisition and building great cultures within organizations. He is also passionate about social entrepreneurship and believes in integrating social contribution directly into for profit business models. Michael is an enthusiastic supporter of the JUMP! mission and excited to be part of its ongoing impact.

YiTing Zheng

YiTing Zheng

Originating from Shanghai, YiTing Zheng has been connected to the world of education for over a decade. From 2004 to 2012, she worked in Shanghai for a leading international education company, where she helped on several business development opportunities, including the opening of new schools in China & SEA, also involved several M&A for different educational institutions. She is currently a partner with Storm Capital partners, providing advisory services to investors in renewable energy projects across the world. Now based in Hong Kong, YiTing has multiple centers of interests, including founding partner of a Modern art Gallery in Shanghai, high tech business investments, and more.

Warren Youngren

Warren Youngren

Warren was an early unofficial contributor to Jump, while the organization was just getting started. He has spent his professional career in Real Estate development with a focus on Design-Build projects in Asia. As a former partner at Facility Asia, based in Beijing, he oversaw expansion projects for numerous Fortune 500 companies throughout China. He was most recently working for Tesla overseeing their Asia Pacific Development team for expansion works for new Retail Stores, Service Centers, and Work Place projects.

Nini Suet

Nini Suet

Nini is the Founder & CEO of Shang International Education Group (aka: Shang Learning). She is a Trustee of her alma mater Tabor Academy and the former Chair of Alumni Students Committee for Princeton University overseeing alumni interviews in northern China. She’s also a multi-term Mentor for Schwartzman Scholars at Tsinghua University. Nini started her career at the Investment Banking division of Morgan Stanley in Hong Kong, then switched to the media space after receiving a Master of Journalism from the University of Hong Kong, and worked at Phoenix InfoNews Channel, and subsequently, CNN International, where she was a Planning Producer and Digital Media Producer on live broadcasts and features programs. During her career in media, Nini also worked as a part-time digital brand strategist in the 360° Digital Influence department at Ogilvy. She returned to Beijing in 2013 and founded Shang International Education Group as one of the first International education solutions providers in China. She’s been interviewed by various domestic and international media including CNN, GQ, The Economist, CCTV, Studying Abroad, etc

Ari Lee

Ari has spent over 30 years in Asia and has proudly been a part of Jump since its nascent stages – he’s also a childhood friend of JUMP!’s Executive Director, Justin!  Ari currently serves as an Executive at one of the largest gaming and entertainment companies, and has previously held leadership positions within the financial technology and telecom sectors.  He holds an Executive MBA from Columbia University, and a B.S. and a B.A. from Boston College University.  For fun, he loves to travel, watch and play sports, enjoy great food and wine, and spend time with his crowning achievement – his daughter, “Lemon”.

Matthew Durnin

Matthew Durnin

HR Committee Chair

Matt is an environmental consultant, Trustee and Executive Committee Member JGI Global and former Board Chair for the Jane Goodall Institute China. He is a reviewer and assurance provider to the Global Standards and Assurance Processes for the IUCN Green List of Protected Areas (GLPA). Previously he led The Nature Conservancy’s science efforts in the Asia Pacific conservation region (APCR). Prior to joining The Nature Conservancy, he was a MacArthur Foundation postdoctoral fellow at the California Academy of Sciences. From 1998 to 2001, he conducted his Ph.D. research on the wild giant pandas of the Wolong Nature Reserve in Sichuan Province. His current work and research interests focus on solutions around the water – energy – food nexus.

Dr. Sakson Royupirom

Dr. Sakson Royupirom

JUMP! Thailand Committee Chair

Born and raised in America, Sakson Rouypirom (or ‘Saks’ to his friends) relocated to Thailand in 2011 with a pre-med degree in psychology from New York University. Recognizing areas around Thailand were going underserved in many basic needs, Saks founded SATI Non-Profit, an organization that focuses on providing access to healthcare and education to remote areas of Thailand and nearby regions. He works tirelessly on shifting public responses from forced sympathy to authentic empathy rooted in mindfulness and supported by volunteer and charity efforts that produce results.
