Empowering youth from all backgrounds to create lasting personal, community, and global change.
JUMP!Development collaborates with local NGOs to connect and empower bright and motivated youths from underprivileged backgrounds with the necessary resources and skills to tackle the most pressing challenges in their communities. In doing so, we develop the capacity of local NGOs in addition to building human capital.
The JUMP! Leadership Conference (JLC) is a year-long, three-part program: Pre-Conference Engagement, Conference, and Post-Conference Impact. Pre-Conference Engagement period (up to 4 weeks) provides UN SDG and entrepreneurship workshops to participants as well as facilitator training in preparation for the conference. The Conference is a two-day event where participants identify shared community challenges with Open Space Technology (OST) and create Community Impact Projects with design thinking. Winning Community Impact Projects will be provided seed funding and mentorship during the Post-Conference Engagement period (up to 47 weeks), as well as connected to a network of global JUMP! changemakers for support and idea-sharing.
In partnership with local and impactful NGOs, JUMP!Development targets underserved communities around the world, equipping the leaders of tomorrow with the tools needed today. These collaborative events create platforms for young changemakers to come together and explore problems within their communities, challenge themselves, inspire one another, and acquire skills to positively impact their surroundings.
For every JUMP! Development Program, we…
Inspire, Empower and Engage
youth to feel a sense of ownership to local challenges and to begin exploring ways to combat them
Involve Local NGOs
