Launch of the JUMP! Development Fund

After almost 10 years of programming and over 30,000 youth served, we are thrilled to announce a game changer as we launch into our second decade…

Over the years, the JUMP! Foundation developed and expanded JUMP! Development projects. Our development model is rooted in deep collaboration with local partners around the world.

We are excited to announce that one of these collaborative partnerships will enable us to launch the JUMP! Development Fund, a New York City-based 501(c)3.

Starting March 1st, 2018 – JUMP! Development will merge with Global Potential to create the JUMP! Development Fund.

In an industry filled with competition for grants, funding and resources it is refreshing to be merging with an organization that is focused on collaboration and creating synergies rather than divides. The merger is a unique model to expand impact and we are looking forward to sharing lessons learned along with our journey.

The alignment of programming between Global Potential and JUMP! is a result of years of history. Back in 2009 JUMP! Foundation began partnering with Global Potential to fund Youth-led GP/JUMP! Leadership Conferences in the U.S., Latin America, and the Caribbean. Informed by the work with Global Potential, the JUMP! Foundation built JUMP! Development to provide similar programming to under-resourced communities around the world.

This merger unites 19 years of institutional experience in youth development, experiential education, and international travel, with combined project locations in New York City, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar, Indonesia, China, Nepal, and Kenya. With social impact mission alignment, the programmatic elements are primed to integrate smoothly.

Please stay tuned as we will share details about this merger and opportunities for your continued involvement and support! Until then, we wish you a wonderful week and we hope you are as excited as we are for what’s to come.
