Nick spent his youth between the cityscape of St. Louis and camping in the rural plains of Missouri. He studied journalism while at university, although experiential education transcended his formal learning. Furthermore, Nick delivered individualized presentations to classrooms from 15 to nearly 400 students promoting his university’s multicultural certificate, which emphasizes an education on multicultural and global issues. On his academic breaks, Nick participated in, and often led, service-oriented trips on topics pertaining to environmental development, disaster relief, and working with at-risk youth. He also led foreign teachers to South Korea to teach sixth and eighth grade students. His interests span across applied positive psychology, quality conversions, and all potato-based food dishes. Fueling his creative ideation, Nick has also served as a Marketing director for a women’s leadership conference, and as an art director for an on-campus advertising agency at his university. Nick hopes to pair his passion for education, connectedness, and creativity on his Princeton in Asia fellowship at the JUMP! Foundation.
