Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Collective Level I

To intentionally explore DEIB frameworks within the student and school community to develop action towards transformational change.

 

  • To equip participants with key social-emotional tools and skills necessary to dive into deep reflection and challenging dialogue
  • To identify and question dominant social norms and cultures present in their respective communities
  • To inspire a supportive community that honors individual experiences and promotes a collective culture of shared growth, connectedness, honesty, learning, and accountability
  • To engage in generative and honest dialogues on diversity, equity & inclusion with clear progress steps towards a personal and collective ideal reality
15-Hour Program

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Collective Level II

After completing Level I, Level II transitions to the process of applying their acquired awareness and tools to action plan towards social issues of choice. 

 

  • To explore case studies of allyship in action to build an understanding of the implications of action bias in social justice and activism
  • To embark on design-thinking process and designing a needs assessment for their selected social issue
  • To collaborate across schools and groups to ideate, prototype, and apply their informed-based action steps towards their initiatives

Climate Action Collective

To engage passionate student leaders in addressing and exploring the alarming climate issues that exist on a local and global scale

 

  • To collaborate across schools and undergo a process of rapid prototyping and testing 
  • To design and launch purpose-driven initatives that address selected environmental and social issues of choice
  • To inspire a supportive community that honors individual experiences and promotes a collective culture of shared growth, connectedness, honesty, learning, and accountability
  • To engage in generative and honest dialogues on global climate change and action with clear progress steps towards a personal and collective ideal reality

UN Sustainable Development Goals Olympics

To embark on a series of experiential challenges in small teams related to the UN Sustainable Development Goals framed through the Pillars of Sustainability.

  • To participate in experiential activities on global issues through the Sustainable Development Goals framework

  • The learn about the experiences, values, strengths, and perspectives of peers

  • To engage in dynamic activities that center collaboration, communication, and play

12-Hour Program

Community, Advocacy, & Service in Leadership

To understand models and practices of community, advocacy, and service as integrations into one's personal leadership style.
  • To build an understanding of the importance of communication whilst being a leader in the ever changing global landscape. Learning how to use advocacy and communication styles to connect with those around us
  • To understand what it means to lead in service of others and tangible skills that can help students be everyday leaders in their community and beyond
  • To create a supportive community culture to encourage shared growth and development

Leadership Program - Create Future Leaders Today

Empower students to build leadership capacity through an empathy-based approach.

  • Using story-telling practices, students will relate with their peers on a deeper level and explore the importance of empathy as it relates to leadership.
  • Reflecting on their school’s culture and well being, student leaders will identify and champion solutions towards growth in their community.
  • All participants will recieve a JUMP! Leadership Certificate upon program completion.

Community Dialogues Program - Strengthen Your Community

A great program option for dealing with COVID-19 challenges. A virtual experience designed to help communities come together to have deep and meaningful conversations on how to move through adversity as a community while staying rooted in empathy.

  • Participants will analyze the effects of a challenging event and normalize difficult feelings.
  • Students will share their own stories, empathize with each other, and reflect on how to move forward together.
  • The end of the program will have a focus on gratitude, asking students to identify and appreciate the people around them who have proven the importance of community.

Transitions Program - Support + Celebrate Your Graduates

This program gives students an opportunity to reflect and celebrate their journey through high school.

  • Provide the community an opportunity to come together, individuals will be given a chance to process this challenging time.
  • Participants will create a vision for what they’d like their future to look like and connect with alumni from their school for meaningful dialogue. 
  • Ensure students feel supported through their transition from high school.

Global Citizenship Program - Explore + Address Global Issues

Examine real-world challenges that student communities are facing in real-time.

  • Explore the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, providing a hands-on opportunity for students to cultivate a better understanding of global issues in a digital landscape.
  • Students will embark on a series of community discovery activities and apply Design Thinking to research, address, and solve a challenge related to an SDG of interest.
  • All participants will receive a JUMP! Global Citizenship Certificate upon program completion.

Innovation Lab - Give Your Community Tools for Success!

Engage an entire school community in reimaging impactful learning online. This project will run over the course of 2-3 weeks.

  • Join stakeholders in a facilitated exchange of ideas on the execution of online learning.
  • Re-evaluate existing practices and implement needs-based action plans, strengthening your school’s unique value in the world of digital remote learning.
  • Collaboratively create a shared vision, gain community buy-in, and empower all stakeholders to embed efficient and impactful educational practices schoolwide.

Breaking Digital Barriers Educator Training Program

The JUMP! Breaking Digital Barriers Educator Training provides educators with the appropriate skills and tools for instructing and connecting through online platforms. This program centers on unpacking the importance of connection, identifying needs of individuals and students in a virtual learning setting, and using the power of facilitation to build and maintain meaningful connections.
