“Racy dedicated two years of her life as a therapist, providing invaluable support and guidance to those in need. However, her path took an unexpected turn when she ventured into the world of outdoor exploration. Her journey into the great outdoors began with a remarkable trek to the Siachen glacier, and it marked the beginning of a series of achievements in mountaineering. Racy accomplished Basic Mountaineering, Advance Mountaineering, and Search and Rescue Mountaineering courses, consistently earning A grades in each. These endeavors not only displayed her dedication but also showcased her exceptional proficiency in mountaineering.

Racy’s passion for the mountains went beyond mere technical skills. She delved into Experiential Education and discovered a sense of peace and fulfillment in a minimalist lifestyle. Her leadership abilities came to the forefront as she led expeditions to various challenging destinations. This included leading an all-women US expedition in Zanskar Valley, venturing to the Virgin Peak, and even leading all-men expeditions. Her approach has always centered around the principle of “”challenge by choice,”” where individuals willingly take on high-altitude treks in challenging terrains, spanning from Ladakh to Uttarakhand, across the majestic Himalayas. Presently, Racy has shifted her focus towards Adventure Counseling, aiming to cultivate a deeper connection with nature and harness the lessons of adversity to bolster resilience. I’m Vivek, and I hail from India. My love for the great outdoors is more than just a passion; it’s been a way of life for me. These experiences have equipped me to shoulder the responsibility of guiding and instructing others. I’ve come to realize that teaching is the ultimate path to mastery. I have confidence in my ability to navigate the wilderness, even in challenging terrains. My experience has led me into the unknown, where I’ve explored harsh environments, all the while emphasizing the importance of risk management, assessment, and mitigation. I firmly believe in facilitating others’ exploration of the wilderness, guiding them to revel in its splendor and take profound lessons from the experience.

Jasmin started out as a Theater major in university, but found her passion in humanitarian and development work as she worked for local government, private, and international non-government organizations. Through years of travelling between work and play, she also found love in trying water activities despite having a hard time learning how to swim. Her high spirits do not stop there, though – it is also reflected indoors, when she is experimenting on recipes in the kitchen. This adventurous heart eventually led her into the path of a facilitator, where she translates knowledge into transformative learning through a mix of indoor and outdoor experiences.

“South Italy was the place where Angelo was born and raised. After receiving his degree, his desire to travel the world led him to begin his journey through Australia, South East Asia, and Central America. During his journey in Thailand, he found out his interest for nature, in particular gardening and farming. He lived in a self sufficient project named “Thamturakit” where he learnt more fully about Thai-permaculture techniques and self-reliant lifestyle. Recently, Angelo and his partner co-founded an eco-friendly community in Chiang Mai called “”Ing Asai Community and Farm.”””

I love working with kids and teens. I find a lot of meaning in transferring my knowledge of outdoors, the exchange of learnings and transforming lives through the simple life and challenges in the outdoors!
