Visual Arts & Service – Ayutthaya – Chao Phraya River

Experience a visual arts expedition along the Chao Phraya river, where you’ll have the chance to observe, document, and connect with Thailand’s rich cultural and historical assets. As you travel from the historical city of Ayutthaya to Bangkok’s Chinatown, you’ll be tasked with creating a portfolio that focuses on a particular aspect of life along the river. Along the way, you’ll learn photography and art skills from local experts and educators and have the opportunity to engage with communities along the route. At the end of the trip, you’ll have the chance to showcase your work in a student-curated gallery exhibition and raise money for a local charity that helps homeless children in the city. This is an unforgettable opportunity to not only hone your creative skills, but also make a positive impact on your surroundings.
