The JUMP! Foundation is proud to announce a dynamic new partnership with the Canadian International School (CIS) Singapore, further cementing our ongoing commitment to nurturing student growth through innovative, experiential learning programs tailored to Singapore’s unique educational ecosystem. This collaboration builds on our successful partnership track-record with other leading international schools in Singapore; such as Stamford American International Singapore and Tanglin Trust School Singapore; while uniquely focusing on CIS’s emphasis on service learning, leadership development, and community engagement.
At the core of this partnership is a shared vision to cultivate students not only as informed community members of CIS and Singapore but as proactive global citizens. JUMP! supports CIS’s curriculum by designing end-to-end, immersive programs that integrate the school’s thematic focus areas e.g. conservation, social innovation, and sustainable development goals (SDGs) into engaging, hands-on experiences. These programs are carefully crafted to encourage students to step outside their comfort zones, embrace challenges, and develop a resilient leadership mindset.
For younger CIS students, JUMP! facilitates adventurous community conservation activities such as dragon boat racing, wildlife observation, and orienteering, all aligned with environmental sustainability themes that resonate deeply with Singapore’s national initiatives. Older students engage in advanced social innovation projects emphasizing entrepreneurship, self-identity, and leadership within the global geopolitical landscape. This two-track approach ensures age-appropriate learning while maintaining a strong connection to the SDGs, empowering students to envision and enact positive change.
Moreover, the partnership leverages Singapore’s strengths in citizen science and government-led sustainability initiatives. JUMP! connects CIS students with local social innovation partners working on critical issues including migrant worker welfare, urban farming, and food poverty, fostering meaningful community engagement and real-world impact. Our facilitators utilize clear, accessible English language frameworks to support CIS’s diverse, English as a second language student body, ensuring inclusive and effective communication throughout the programs.
