The Hero's Journey - Poon Hill Mardi Himal

• This 11-day Mardi Himal expedition is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, bringing participants to some of the most beautiful places in the world while providing space and time for them to reflect on personal journeys in their lives. The Mardi Himal trek offers participants the opportunity to undertake an extended overnight trek to the Mardi Himal base camp, reaching a peak of over 4000m. Themed around the Hero's Journey, participants will consider the journey ahead of them, and the impact they hope to have in the world. During the trek, participants stay at tea houses as they ascend to higher camps on the trek over multiple days. Participants rotate leadership responsibilities during the trek, taking ownership of their group's experience, and the leadership needed when traveling in the mountains. Following the trek, participants have an opportunity to explore historic Bhaktapur in Kathmandu.
